AI-Integrated Sports Field Camera Deployments
KnC Automations supported WIN Reality across four California sports-field deployments, installing and integrating AI-enabled IP camera systems alongside the field infrastructure needed to bring each site online.
Four field sites
Two IP cameras at each site, for eight cameras total. Cameras operated at 200 frames per second with AI recognition software.
Supporting equipment
One computer and one LED display at each site, plus three Cat6 runs averaging 60–100 feet and two power cables per site.
KnC field team
William Hunter served as lead technician, with Katy Hunter as project manager. Remote computer setup details are summarized at a high level.
Installation and workflow
KnC installed and supported camera mounts, structured Cat6 and power cabling, the on-site computer, and LED display mounting. The team used standard drilling and fastening tools, cable identification and test equipment, then calibrated and tested the system and cleaned up the work area.
Challenges and lessons
Roof mounts and cable penetrations were sealed against water intrusion. When the LED location changed to a fence, KnC built a support with long U-strut and through-bolts secured to the fence framing to stabilize the approximately 40-pound display. The work reinforced the value of accounting for weather sealing and structural support when field conditions or mounting locations change.
Each site was completed in one day, including same-day calibration and testing. No school names or sensitive site, network, or security details are included.
